Teesside University has become the first University in the North East to offer an Undergraduate Degree course in CHIROPRACTIC leading to the award of a MSci (Hons). A foundation year is also available for those without the necessary qualifications.
This course has been approved by the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and enrolled it’s first cohort of students in September 2020. Thirsk Chiropractor Richard Skippings was involved in the Curriculum Development Group which helped to formulate the course content before being submitted to the University and the GCC for formal approval.
The Clinic will also be involved as Placement Tutors giving the students experience in how clinics are run and organised and how treatment is given to patients. If you are interested in the possibility of studying Chiropractic at Teesside then applications can be made through the UCAS system or direct with the University.
